OneKnowledgeTurn your organisation’s documents into trusted, accessible knowledge.
In developmentOneKnowledge is in development. It combines a controlled document repository with a private AI chat interface. Documents can be uploaded or imported from SharePoint, versioned and viewed in one portal; the AI assistant answers questions using the approved repository content and shows the sources behind each answer.
OneKnowledge is in development. This page describes the current design and planned direction rather than a general-availability release.
Your knowledge is valuable. It's also scattered.
Organisations hold valuable technical and operational knowledge across SharePoint, PDFs, Word and Excel documents and older help content. Finding the right answer quickly is hard.
Public AI tools may be unsuitable where that knowledge is confidential or customer-specific. OneKnowledge keeps answers grounded in the documents you approve, with references back to the source.
What OneKnowledge does.
What the current design includes
- Document repository for Word, Excel, PDF, text, HTML, CHM and CSV content
- SharePoint import with inclusion and exclusion filters
- Document version history with an identified active version
- PDF conversion for consistent viewing in the browser
- AI chat with answers grounded in repository content and source references
- Sign-in with local multi-factor authentication or Microsoft Entra ID
Where it can help
- Support knowledge bases
- Customer-specific documentation
- Manufacturing and assembly guidance
- Technical product documentation
- Engineering procedures and manuals
- A private internal knowledge assistant
Where it is today, and where it is heading
- We are using and developing OneKnowledge as a support knowledge system within Web Control, to protect customer-specific technical knowledge.
- A strong external use is manufacturing, assembly or engineering documentation where proprietary information should remain controlled.
- It can be adapted to other specialist knowledge areas, such as product and service support or employee knowledge bases.
Capabilities are confirmed release by release. Talk to us about which features are available in the version being discussed.
