Business Applications

Capture time and labour accurately, at the point of work.

Applications that let people book time to jobs, operations and projects as they work, so costing, payroll and planning are based on what actually happened.

The problem

End-of-day guesses make for inaccurate costs.

When labour is booked from memory at the end of a shift, or written on timesheets and keyed in later, the figures in your ERP drift away from reality.

That affects job costing, quoting, planning and payroll. We build time and labour recording applications that make booking time quick and natural, so it happens when the work does.

Start and stop at source

Companion apps let people start and stop the clock on a job or operation, including by scanning a barcode.

Time and labour portals

Web portals for reviewing, correcting and submitting time against jobs and projects.

Approvals

Managers review and approve time before it posts to your ERP.

Costing and analysis

Compare actual times against standards to improve costing, quoting and planning.

02 / In practice

From booking at the end of the day to booking as you go.

At ATEC Engineering Solutions, operators used to book time to jobs at the end of the day. With their shop-floor OneApp, logging into a job on the tablet starts the clock and logging out stops it. For the first time, ATEC has the data to check manufacturing times in their system against actual times on the job.
