Inventory & Warehouse Management

Know what you've got, where it is and where it's going.

A warehouse worker scans a stock location and selects a component from an organised violet tray.

NetSuite inventory and warehouse management configured around your stock, your bins and your fulfilment process, with traceability from supplier to customer.

01 / The challenge

When stock isn't visible, everyone feels it.

Sales can't promise dates, purchasing over-orders or runs short, and finance waits for manual updates before it can invoice.

We see the same problems again and again: ad hoc stock without structured receipt or put-away, lot numbers and use-by dates that are hard to manage, batch and expiry tracking held outside the system, and landed costs kept in spreadsheets. Getting inventory right is what makes the rest of NetSuite work.

What changes

  • Sales work with live stock insight, improving order accuracy
  • Purchasing sees inbound stock and demand in one place
  • Warehouse teams follow structured, mobile processes
  • Finance is aligned with fulfilment for timely invoicing
02 / What we do

Inventory and warehouse capability we configure.

Inventory visibility

Track stock across locations, with lot and serial traceability, reorder points and replenishment settings where the relevant features are enabled.

Receiving and putaway

NetSuite WMS adds mobile barcode-based receiving and directed putaway, capturing item, lot and serial information at the point of work.

Picking and packing

WMS supports wave release, single- and multi-order picking and guided pick-and-pack processes.

Bins and counts

Use bins to organise warehouse stock and cycle-count plans to check inventory accuracy.

Connected fulfilment

Warehouse transactions connect with NetSuite inventory and order fulfilment so teams can follow stock movement through the process.

Choose the right scope

Inventory management, WMS and additional planning or shipping capabilities depend on your licensed modules and configuration. We confirm the fit before implementation.

03 / Warehouse accelerators

Small tools that save a lot of clicks.

Our NetSuite-native accelerators remove repetitive warehouse steps:

  • Batch bin transfer: move every item in one bin to another in a single step
  • Automated WIP bin transfers: stock moved into WIP bins for the manufacturing mobile app
  • Bulk work order picking: pick lists across multiple work orders
  • Kit availability: real available kit quantities, visible on sales orders
  • Custom label printing: labels NetSuite doesn't provide as standard

05 / In our clients' words

Seamless from the old system to the new.

Implementation Project

Working with Web Control during our ERP project was genuinely a pleasure. They were not only very knowledgeable but also incredibly supportive and easy to collaborate with. Their team felt like an extension of ours, and their input made a real difference in how smoothly everything ran.

What stood out most was their responsiveness — they always got back to us quickly and kept communication clear and consistent. They were exceptionally organised and went the extra mile to ensure we understood each process and every step of the project.

Implementation Project

I would say that we are so happy with how the whole implementation / training process has gone overall. The support from the Web Control team (especially Kat who has gone above and beyond) has been invaluable especially to myself as team lead. It has been a very seamless transfer from the old system to the new with very little noise made regarding the changes from the team here at NHC.

Standard capability, configured around your warehouse.

We review your locations, bins, item tracking, receiving and picking processes before agreeing the NetSuite configuration. Mobile devices, barcode use, user roles and operational testing form part of the warehouse design.

The Web Control accelerators on this page are our own extensions. Connections to an external WMS, 3PL or carrier are separately scoped integrations, rather than features implied to be included in every NetSuite account.
