Reporting, Dashboards & Analytics
The right information, for every role, at the right time.
Role-based dashboards, KPIs, saved searches and SuiteAnalytics designed around the decisions your teams actually make, so fewer reports live in spreadsheets outside the system.
Data in NetSuite isn't the same as insight.
When reporting gaps appear, people fill them with exports and spreadsheets. The numbers drift, decisions slow down and nobody is quite sure which version is right.
We start with the questions each team needs answered, from stock availability and margins to overdue balances and service performance, then design the dashboards, searches and alerts that answer them inside NetSuite.
What good looks like
- Each role opens NetSuite to the KPIs and lists that matter to them
- Alerts flag exceptions before they become problems
- Reports kept outside the system are brought back in
- Finance, operations and sales work from the same numbers
Reporting designed around your decisions.
Role-based dashboards
Dashboards for operations, finance, sales, purchasing, technical and quality teams, built during implementation or added later.
KPIs & operational alerts
Key measures and exception alerts so teams can act quickly, rather than hunting for problems.
Saved searches & SuiteAnalytics
Saved searches and SuiteAnalytics workbooks for analysis, plus guidance so your team can build their own.
Costing & margin visibility
Visibility of costs, margins and profitability, including project and multi-currency reporting where needed.
Bespoke reports
Custom reports where standard reporting doesn't fit, such as kit availability or project P&L.
AI-assisted reporting
Use approved NetSuite reports and searches through Claude or ChatGPT to explore results, explain changes and identify questions worth investigating.

Start with the question, not the report.
Listen
Understand what each role needs to know, and when.
Design
Agree the KPIs, searches and dashboard layouts.
Build
Configure in NetSuite and test with real users.
Refine
Review usage and improve as your business changes.
Reporting work can be delivered as a focused project, through bundled hours, or as part of the enhancement capacity in our managed service tiers.
From a saved search to a useful dashboard.
Define the question
Choose the records, filters, result columns and summary measures for a saved search: for example, overdue invoices or open purchase orders.
Put the view on the dashboard
Display an accessible saved search in a Custom Search portlet. Suitable summary searches can also supply custom KPIs, comparisons and graphs.
Go deeper with Workbook
Use SuiteAnalytics Workbook for charts, pivot tables and analysis across related records. Share reusable workbooks and add their views to dashboard portlets.
We agree the reporting audience, date basis, filters and measures with your team, then check the results and role permissions. A dashboard should make the next action clear, with a route back to the detail.
Oracle: saved searches on dashboards · Oracle: SuiteAnalytics capabilities
Ask better questions of your NetSuite data.
NetSuite AI Connector Service uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to your NetSuite account. With the appropriate setup and permissions, the assistant can run existing reports and saved searches and help you interpret the results.
Explain a movement
Ask Claude to compare two reporting periods, chart the movement and identify the customers, products or categories contributing to the change.
Build a working view
Ask for a chart or dashboard-style summary of returned data, then follow up by period, subsidiary or another available dimension. Claude can bring a visual summary and plain-language commentary together.
Turn results into questions
Explore overdue balances, purchasing exceptions or sales trends. Ask for a prioritised list to review and links to the underlying NetSuite records where available.
These are example ways to analyse your own data, not claims about customer results. Visuals created in Claude are analysis views; they do not automatically publish or refresh a NetSuite dashboard. What can be retrieved or displayed depends on the installed tools, the AI client and your authorised role.
For financial analysis we start with NetSuite’s standard reports and their accounting logic. Agree the period, subsidiary, currency and accounting basis, then check the figures and the assistant’s interpretation before acting. We help configure access, repeatable prompts and reporting definitions so the analysis is useful to finance, purchasing and sales.
